  • We are located in Toronto’s east end, also known as Leslieville.

    5 Dickens St. (Unit 105), near the corner of Dundas St E & Carlaw Ave.

  • A limited number of free parking spaces is available on Dickens St.

    There is also paid street parking available on Carlaw Ave and an Impark Parking lot at 345 Carlaw Ave #492.

Classes & Memberships

  • That's wonderful! The Villij is the perfect place to begin your journey.

    Our Soulful Stretch and Pilates & Stretch classes are designed with beginners in mind.

    You don’t need to be "experienced" or "flexible" to join.

    Plus, our instructors are here to offer any guidance you need along the way.

  • We look forward to offering 1-on-1 private classes very soon. In the meantime, we're happy to offer private group classes, learn more here.

  • Welcome! We’re excited to have you join us. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class to get familiar with the space and meet the community.

    We’ve got you covered with yoga mats and all the props you'll need for your practice, like bolsters, blankets, and more.

    Wear something comfortable that allows for movement. If you'd like, you can bring socks to move around the studio. There are no lockers. However, we have a coat area for your belongings.

    Lastly, feel free to bring a reusable water bottle—we have filtered water available. Plus, we’re happy to offer complimentary tea and snacks!

  • Booking online is recommended to ensure you secure a spot in class, but walk-ins are welcome, provided there are spots available in the class.

  • Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before class to make sure you’re all set.

    For safety reasons, doors will close 5 minutes after the class starts. If you are running late, please send us an email at info@thevillij.com or in-app message.

  • Yes, monthly memberships can be freezed up to two months. If you have additional questions, email us at info@thevillij.com.

  • Yes. Please see one of our team members in studio to make your purchase. Payment is accepted by credit/debit card only.

  • Yes. You can purchase all services as a gift online or in the studio. For online purchases, select the membership or class pass and choose “Gift this to a friend”.

    To purchase a class for a friend, select the class and enter your friend’s contact details, then add your payment details.

    You may also purchase gift cards here.

  • Memberships and class packs cannot be shared or transferred to another person.

  • You can book classes up to 5 weeks in advance.

    Only one account is permitted per customer.

Studio Policies

  • When a spot in the class becomes available, the system will automatically send an SMS to everyone who is on the waitlist.

    The first person to respond to the SMS accepting their spot will be booked into the class. The waitlist order doesn’t matter. Customers who don’t have a phone number on file will be contacted via email.

  • If you are unable to make it to a yoga or pilates class, you may cancel 12 hours before class starts to avoid losing your class credit.

    This will also help to ensure that your spot can be made available to another member.

    A $5 fee will be automatically applied for late cancellations. A $10 fee will be automatically applied for no-shows.

    For studio events and workshops, a 100% 30-day credit will be applied if cancelled at least 7 days before the event date. For cancellations up to 72 hours before the event date, a 50% 30-day credit will be applied. After this, no credit will be applied.

    However, event and workshop tickets can be transferred to a friend. A $10 fee will be automatically applied for no-shows.

  • While we love all animals, to ensure the comfort and safety of everyone in our space, we do not allow support animals inside the studio. This decision was made to help create a peaceful and distraction-free environment for our community. We thank you for your understanding.

    Please note that this policy does not apply to service animals, which are still welcome in accordance with accessibility laws.

Services & Facilities

  • You can check yourself in upon arrival using our studio iPad. A member from our team can also assist you.

  • No, there are no showers. We have a bathroom to change and freshen up as needed.

  • No. Our studio is not wheelchair accessible.

    To enter the studio, there is one step up. Once you’ve entered, there are eight steps down to access the welcome lounge and practice area.

Walking Club

  • The fee for the season pass helps us financially compensate the incredible women on our team who dedicate their time and expertise to make this walking club possible. Your support allows us to ensure they are fairly paid for their contributions, so we can continue offering a meaningful and inclusive experience.

  • No. If you purchased a Villij Walk membership in 2023, you have lifetime access to our walking club and do not have to purchase a new season pass.

  • We acknowledge that many outdoor spaces aren’t suitable for people using mobility-assistive devices, with trails that are either too narrow, too steep, uneven or feature staircase. While our team aims to plan accessible routes, we cannot guarantee that there will not be any barriers.

  • Walks are conducted in groups. Hence, it's important to consider that other members may have allergies or fears of dogs.

    If you wish to bring your dog, we ask that you participate while maintaining a safe distance from other group members that do not wish to interact with your dog. Service dogs are an exception.

  • We recognize that some walking routes may not be suitable for strollers or young children. Trails may be narrow, steep, uneven, or feature staircases. While our team aims to plan accessible routes, we cannot guarantee that there will not be any barriers. Send us an email at info@thevillij.com with your questions/concerns.

Shipping & Returns

  • We accept all major credit cards and PayPal for online purchases. Studio memberships cannot be purchased using PayPal.

  • At this time, we ship to Canada and the contiguous United States. We look forward to shipping internationally soon.

  • Once your order is packaged and ready to ship, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number.

  • All sales are final.
